About this Blog

As events unfold at a rapid pace, the question is no longer if there will be an impact on business and life on account of COVID-19 but of the magnitude of such impact and how must we be prepared and responsible for our employees, business partners and society at large.

The JSA COVID-19 Blog seeks to provide regular updates on changes in the law in India, in context of the coronavirus pandemic.

Included in the blog are recent commentaries and questions our lawyers have answered to various clients. We will work daily to provide you with as many updates as possible as the situation in India keeps changing. States have the freedom to make locals rules and regulations in matter of health and labour markets within the framework of the laws that the Central government of India will bring into force to cope with the pandemic.

We hope this will help businesses be more prepared with facts so they may find this phase of business and life easier to navigate.

To discuss any topic or seek further clarifications you may reach your regular contact attorney at the firm or mail us your query to JSACovid-19@jsalaw.com
